Want to try meditation but unsure where to begin? Join Gayle V. for a virtual 60-minute exploratory workshop of meditation styles that can be applied to your daily life using Zoom. Meditation techniques will be both discussed and experienced so you'll leave with some tools you can feel confident in using on your own.
Meditation is an excellent addition to a yoga practice. As one uses asana to strengthen and purify the physical body, one must explore meditation as a means to strengthen the neutral observer and cultivate a clarity of mind. Come learn, explore, experience and grow!

Yoga nidra is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Sound healing enhances deep relaxation as well as clear heavy energies from the body to assist a more meditative state. Gayle will guide the nidra meditation and offer the healing sounds of Tibetan and crystal healing bowls, bells, and koshi chimes. This space is offered to allow important shifts to occur to balance mind, body, and spirit. Please wear comfortable clothing. There will be limited blankets and bolsters, bring yours if you have them. Do not eat 2 hours before this practice.

Ignite Your Fire, Own Your Power
The third chakra represents the fire element in us. It is located in the naval point, where all 72,000 lines of energy meet. It controls the fire and digestion. The energy here connects with identity, domain, and judgement.
In this 2 1/2 hour long class you will learn and practice Nabhi Kriya. There are six kriyas (actions) with a gong-led savasana. It is designed to strengthen our abdominals to harness the energy that gives us initiative and courage. It’s fire can ignite a desire in us to accomplish great deeds and give us the energy to keep going!
Please intermediate students only (consistent yoga practice of one year or more).

Yin Yoga is exactly what every body needs! This practice holds the body in postures for a while to apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Current yoga teachers and students will learn valuable posture set ups and knowledge for a more balanced life.
Sound is a powerful tool that can be used to retune our bodies to higher vibrational frequencies and natural rhythms. Our bodies sync up to the harmonic inflections created by gongs, singing bowls and other overtoneemitting instruments. Brain, nervous, endocrine and immune systems shift into parasympathetic mode (rest & digest systems), bringing you to a place where you can relax and the body can repair itself.
Join Gayle V., a trained sound healer, for this restorative evening. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat, bolsters, blankets and any nesting materials to make you comfortable. If you are pregnant, please consult a doctor before participating
